(Milwaukee, WI) – We’ve moved our collection spot inside of State Fair Park after years of being on the north end near the Pettit National Ice Center. You can find us now just outside of the Milwaukee Mile after entering the park on the south side at Gate 1 off Greenfield Ave. (see map below). Clear your home of household chemicals the safe way this Friday and Saturday. It’s free to visit MMSD Home Hazmat collection sites where you can get rid of paint, compact fluorescent light bulbs, motor oil, rechargeable batteries, and much more. For Milwaukee County residents ONLY. Sorry, NO businesses allowed.
The first mobile collection of 2018 is at State Fair Park, gate 1, just off Greenfield Ave. from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 6 and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 7.
There are also three facilities are open all year in Milwaukee, Franklin, and Menomonee Falls. For a list of things you can and cannot drop off, locations, and hours, CLICK HERE.
