It's important that everyone take steps to reduce the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). Find out more about COVID-19 in Milwaukee County, WI.
Get FREE water by the barrel from your roof and use it when it’s dry outside to give thirsty gardens, flowers, and trees a drink. Rain barrels help keep excess water out of the sewer system and help reduce water pollution.
Starting August 10th, 2020 we will have rain barrels in stock! Visit our main lobby between 8 am and 4 pm to purchase or redeem a rain barrel certificate. Please be advised that masks are required to enter our building and you must pay with cash (exact change) or check. Each rain barrel with the installation kit included is $60.
Learn how to install and care for a rain barrel in a rain barrel workshop. Participants will learn about water conservation and the many benefits of using rain barrels. Rain barrels capture rainwater from your roof that you can use later when it's dry for thirsty gardens. They also help prevent rain from becoming polluted stormwater runoff, the biggest remaining threat to clean rivers and our Great Lakes.
One FREE rain barrel will be provided per household at the workshop and registration is required.
The popularity of our rain barrel workshops has them filling up quickly. Having trouble finding an open one? We are in the process of setting up more. Please sign up to be notified with news and announcements about the workshops.
