NOTICE:

Any individual interested in hunting or trapping on designated Greenseams® properties will need to register their name through this website. Registration will provide permission to hunt on any of the approved sites shown on the maps below. Tree stands, tree climbers, pop up shelters, or any other hunting structures can be used on the property ONLY if they are carried in and carried out with each use. Any tree stands found unattended on a property will be confiscated.

Please note, the list of properties designated for hunting and trapping change annually. The maps below indicate which properties are owned by Greenseams and are currently open for hunting and trapping. Properties purchased by Greenseams are eventually transferred to local municipalities, local land trusts, or the WI DNR for long term ownership. Once transferred, the Greenseams Program no longer controls the site for hunting purposes and the site is removed from the maps below.

Certain Greenseams properties have hunting or trapping restricted due to local ordinances or state regulations. It is your responsibility as a hunter to know the local and state laws that apply to your activities and to ensure that you are within the applicable property boundaries. MMSD does not and cannot guarantee the status of applicable seasons, laws, and ordinances. Always verify applicable laws with the WI DNR and municipal officials. Hunting, trapping, and fishing on Greenseams® owned lands is at your own risk.
